What is a Fraction ? ভগ্নাংশ কি ?

• A fraction is a number that represents a part of a whole or group. : ভগ্নাংশ হৈছে এটা সংখ্যা যি এটা সম্পূৰ্ণ বস্তু বা গোটৰ অংশ বুজায়।


• It is written as numerator / denominator. : ই সাধাৰণতে লব / হৰ (numerator / denominator) ৰূপে লিখা হয়।


• The numerator shows the parts taken, and the denominator shows total equal parts. লব-এ লোৱা অংশ দেখুৱায় আৰু হৰ-এ মুঠ সমান অংশ দেখুৱায়।


• Example: 3/4 means 3 parts out of 4 equal parts. : উদাহৰণ: 3/4 মানে ৪টা ভাগৰ ভিতৰত ৩টা অংশ।


• In 5/8, 5 is numerator and 8 is denominator. : 5/8-ত 5 হৈছে লব আৰু 8 হৈছে হৰ।

• Equivalent fractions like 1/2 = 2/4 = 4/8 have the same value. : 1/2 = 2/4 = 4/8 একে মানৰ ভগ্নাংশ।


• Fractions are useful in daily life for sharing, measuring, and dividing things. : ভগ্নাংশ দৈনন্দিন জীৱনত ভাগ-বতৰা, মাপ, বণ্টন আদিত ব্যৱহাৰ হয়।
