 Ratio compares two quantities of the same unit.

If A / B = 3 / 5, then A = 3 parts, B = 5 parts

 Total Parts = 3 + 5 = 8

 Trick to find individual values

 If A / B = x / y, then A = x / x+y × Total, B = y / x+y × Total
