Q. Six persons P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6 are sitting around a circular table facing the centre (but not necessarily in the same order). There are exactly two persons sitting between P2 and P6 on either side. There is exactly one person sitting between P2 and P4. P5 sits immediately to the right of P3. P1 sits second to the right of P6. Who sits immediately to the right of P1 ?

      i.   Two persons between P2 and P6                               


     ii.   One person between P2 and P4


     iii.   P5 immediately right of P3


      iv.   P1 second right of P6


Placement


1.     Fix P6 anywhere.


2.     P1 = 2nd right of P6 → clockwise → place P1.


3.     P2 = 2 seats away from P6 → place P2.


4.     P4 = 1 seat away from P2 → place P4.


5.     P3 & P5 together → P5 right of P3 → place both.


Check Right of P1: P1 → facing centre → right = clockwise → P2

Q. Eight athletes - Sunil, Abhishek, Mohit, Cheenu, Rahul, Tanu, Koyal, and Ankit - are sitting around a circular table facing outward (not necessarily in the same order). Koyal is third to the left of Rahul. Tanu is third to the right of Cheenu. Mohit is second to the right of Sunil. Abhishek is second to the left of Cheenu. Tanu is second to the left of Sunil. Who is sitting second to the left of Koyal ?

1.     Table is circular, facing outward → Left = clockwise, Right = anticlockwise.


2.     Koyal = 3rd left of Rahul → place Koyal.
