Basic English Words

1. This : Note: Used for one thing near us. This ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় ওচৰৰ এটা বস্তু বুজাবলৈ।

Examples: 1. This is a pen. এইটো এটা কলম। 2. This is my book. এইটো মোৰ কিতাপ।

2. That : Note: Used for one thing far from us. That ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় দূৰৰ এটা বস্তু বুজাবলৈ।

Examples: 1. That is a tree. সেইটো এটা গছ। | 2. That is your house. সেইটো তোমাৰ ঘৰ।

3. One : Note: Means only one. One মানে এটা মাত্ৰ।

Examples: 1. I have one pencil. মোৰ এটা পেঞ্চিল আছে। 2. One boy is here. এজন ল’ৰা ইয়াত আছে।

4. Many : Note: Means more than one. Many মানে বহুতো / এটাতকৈ বেছি।

Examples: 1. I have many books. মোৰ বহুতো কিতাপ আছে। 2. Many students are here. বহুতো ছাত্ৰ ইয়াত আছে।

5. Is : Note: Used with one person or one thing. Is ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় এজন বা এটা বস্তুৰ সৈতে।

Examples: 1. This is a cat. এইটো এটা মেকুৰী। 2. He is my friend. সি মোৰ বন্ধু।

6. Are : Note: Used with more than one. Are ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় এটাতকৈ বেছি লোক বা বস্তুৰ সৈতে।

Examples: 1. These are apples. এইবোৰ আপেল। 2. They are students. সিহঁত ছাত্ৰ।

7. My : Note: Shows something belongs to me. My বুজায় মোৰ নিজৰ বস্তু।

Examples: 1. My bag is blue. মোৰ বেগটো নীলা। 2. This is my pen. এইটো মোৰ কলম।

8. Your : Note: Shows something belongs to you. Your বুজায় তোমাৰ নিজৰ বস্তু।

Examples: 1. Your book is new. তোমাৰ কিতাপটো নতুন। 2. This is your pencil. এইটো তোমাৰ পেঞ্চিল।

9. He : Note: Used for a boy or a man. He ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় ল’ৰা বা পুৰুষৰ বাবে।

Examples: 1. He is my brother. সি মোৰ ভায়েক। 2. He is a teacher. সি এজন শিক্ষক।

10. She : Note: Used for a girl or a woman. She ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় ছোৱালী বা মহিলাৰ বাবে।
