Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first President of India and a great freedom fighter. He was born on 3 December 1884 in Bihar. He was a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi and played an important role in India’s freedom struggle.

He was the President of the Constituent Assembly, which helped in making the Constitution of India. He served as the first President of India from 1950 to 1962. 

He was known for his simple and humble nature. In 1962, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna for his service to the nation. He passed away on 28 February 1963. He is remembered as a dedicated and respected leader.
