The human body has many parts that work together to keep the body functioning properly.
Head
- Brain-1: Controls all the body's organs and parts, and helps with learning and thinking
- Eyes-2: Help us see the world around us
- Ears-2: Help us hear sounds and balance
- Nose-1: Helps us smell
- Mouth-1: Helps us eat, drink, speak, and taste
Torso
Heart-1: Pumps blood throughout the body, giving us energy
Lungs-2: Help us breathe in fresh air and breathe out what's not needed
Stomach-1: Helps break down food so the body can use it for energy
Arms and hands
Arms-2: Help us reach for things, lift weight, and hug
Hands-2: Help us pick things up, write, draw, play, and grab
Legs and feet
Legs-2: Help us move, work, play, run, and skip
Feet-2: Provide a stable base for standing, walking, running, and balancing
Skin, muscles, and bones
Skin-1: Protects us from the sun and holds all our body parts in place
Muscles-: Help us move, talk, and breathe
